Off-List Reserve Mixed Case

Six bottles from our reserve cellar that you won’t find on our everyday list, with a detailed guide to every wine.

For this case, we’ve gone past the familiar favourites and into our reserve cellar. None of these bottles regularly sit on a list in one of our pubs or hotels. Some are rare finds we held back; others have been resting until they were ready to drink.

The case includes three whites: a Chenin Blanc from South Africa’s Alheit Vineyards, a Burgundy Chardonnay grown on the edge of Meursault, and a rare Grenache Blanc from California’s Ridge Vineyards. Three reds: a rich Southern Rhône from Rasteau, a 2012 Viña Tondonia Reserva from López de Heredia, and a 2017 Reserve Shiraz from Drew Noon MW, now at its best after years in bottle.

Instead of a chef’s recipe, this case comes with a guide written by our wine team. It covers where each wine comes from, how it tastes, when to drink it, which wines to decant, and what to serve with them. Open them with friends around the table, or one by one by the fire.
